Parent-workshops

Our expert faculty at Amity Center for Educational Research and Training (ACERT) hold regular workshops for adults. These touch upon aspects of personal effectiveness, stress management for parents, assessing your child's learning style, how to regulate TV viewing, ideas for more playful and developmentally appropriate practices with children, positive discipline, to mention just a few. In these rich, engaging and interactive sessions, parents get an opportunity to learn with and from each other. (Monthly schedules are available at www.amity.edu/acert).

You are your child's first teacher and integral in making your child's preschool experience as positive as possible. At Amiown, we aim to provide your whole family with a unique Preschool experience where you will find each and every person on the Team is passionate and invested in our belief to 'nurture happy and lifelong learners'. At the same time, we seek your continuous support, participation and cooperation to make this possible.

Amitots- A programme for Toddlers

At Amiown, we strongly believe in the formation of trusting bonds between toddlers and the adults that care for them and that rich
early experiences with caring and attentive adults can build a child's confidence , affecting his/her approach to learning far into the future.

With this in mind, we are pleased to announce the latest addition to our caring Preschool, 'Amitots' - a programme for toddlers between 18 -24 months. A parent or guardian above the age of 21 years is required to accompany the child. In this setting our teachers will model activities and strategies of a developmentally appropriate curriculum for you as you engage in play and learning along side your child.

Our curriculum is designed to support each child's individuality as well as introduce him/her to social guidelines as he/she plays and learns with his/her peers. Small group sizes in 'Amitots' will allow teachers to develop a deeper understanding of each child's personality, likes, dislikes, and developmental needs, creating a true community of care.

If you are interested to apply to Amitots, please contact Ms.Ritu Verma, Coordinator at the Delhi Center or send an email to delhi@amiown.amity.edu.
